What we collect
Nothing. BPro Messaging has no user accounts, no servers, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind. The app never transmits your messages, contacts, usage, or any other personal information to us or to any third party.
Where your data lives
- Your messages (SMS and MMS) are stored in your phone’s own system message store, managed by Android — the same shared store every messaging app uses. They remain on your device and under your control.
- Your organization data (tabs, pins, favorites, notification tone choices, quick replies, scheduled messages, reminders, settings) is stored in a private database on your device that only BPro Messaging can read. It never leaves your phone.
- Your contacts are read from your phone’s contacts app solely to display names and photos. They are never copied, uploaded, or shared.
Messages you send
Messages are transmitted by your mobile carrier over the SMS/MMS network, exactly as with any texting app. Your carrier’s own policies govern that transmission. Features like auto-reply and scheduled send simply send ordinary text messages on your behalf, at your instruction, from your device.
Permissions the app uses
- SMS/MMS — to send and receive your text messages (the app’s core purpose as your default messaging app)
- Contacts — to show names and photos for the people you text
- Notifications — to alert you to new messages
- Phone (dial) — to open the dialer when you tap the call button
Children
BPro Messaging does not collect data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date. Because the app collects nothing, we do not anticipate material changes.
